About the School of Mathematical Sciences The School of Mathematical Sciences (SoMS) is one of the key academic units of the University, comprising the Departments of Mathematics, Statistics, and Actuarial Science. The School is dedicated to fostering strong theoretical foundations alongside practical and computational expertise in mathematical and statistical sciences. It offers a range of academic programs at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels, including specialized courses such as M.Sc. in Mathematics (with Computational Mathematics), M.Sc. in Statistics (with Industrial Statistics), and programs in Actuarial Science.
