The University Institute of Chemical Technology (UICT), a constituent of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (KBC NMU), Jalgaon, was established in 1994 with the vision of advancing education and research in chemical sciences and engineering. KBC NMU is an ‘A’ Grade NAAC Re-accredited university (4th cycle) and is ranked among the top 100 universities in India as per NIRF 2025, Ministry of Education, Government of India. UICT is recognized as a premier center of excellence in chemical engineering and allied technologies. It offers B. Tech, M. Tech, and Ph.D. programs across diverse specializations including Chemical Engineering, Paint Technology, and Food Technology. The institute is distinguished for its state-of-the-art laboratories, modern infrastructure, and a vibrant research ecosystem.
