Prof. S. T. Ingle, born in 1964, belongs to a rural area of Maharashtra State and his village Advihir comes under the jurisdiction of Buldana District, where he has taken primary and Secondary education. After Secondary School Education, he has Completed Graduation (B.Sc. Environmental Science) and Post Graduation (M.Sc. Environmental Science) from Dr. B. A. Marathawada University, Aurangabad. He has Obtained Ph.D. degree in 1992 from Institute of Science, Mumbai University, Mumbai.

Prof. S. T. Ingle has started carrier as a ‘Lecture’ at Chhatrapati Shahu Institute of Business Education and Research, Kolhapur in 1992 and then joined as Reader in Environmental Science in 1999 in Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. Then he became Professor of Environmental Sciences in 2006 and recently promoted as Senior Professor in 2021.

Prof. S. T. Ingle has worked as a Director, School of Environmental and Earth Sciences from 2014 to 2017 During this period, he has developed innovative academic programs, consultancy cell and grab the grants of Rs. 5 Crores from various funding agencies. He has worked on various academic and administrative committees of the university. He has made remarkable Contribution in the NAAC accreditation Process (III and IV) of the university as a Director of IQAC.

Prof. S. T. Ingle has took over charge of Pro. Vice Chancellor of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University from 05th July 2022.
