The Central Sophisticated Instrumentation Laboratory of the School of Physical Sciences has the state of the art material characterization facilities. All these facilities are extensively utilized by students, teachers and researchers in and around the University.

Solar Photovoltaic System

A 2.8 kW Solar Photovoltaic system has been installed in the Department of Physics. The power generated by the system has been supplied to M.Sc. laboratories and the Central Computational and Internet Facility Room. It gives uninterrupted power supply to these essential facilities.

The Department has set up a Departmental Library in 2008. The library has more than 424 text-books and reference books and Digital Library with high-end computers connected parallel to University's VSAT and Internet facilities.
