General Criteria
- A candidate is considered to be eligible for admission to the post graduate course if he/she has secured at least 50% (or equivalent CGPA) marks at graduation (45% marks for backward class i.e., SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC/SEBC category candidates from Maharashtra state).
Specific Criteria
- B.Sc. with Electronics / Physics as one of the Optional Subjects, B.Sc. with Electronics / Electronics Science / B.Voc. in Industrial Automation. BE / B.Tech. with Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics / Instrumentation. B.Sc. Computer Science.

Online Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) for admission to this course is carried out by the university in the month of June. |
- To enhance the knowledge in multidisciplinary approach in the field of Basic Technologies in electronics, Embedded Systems, microwaves, network analysis and synthesis, MEMs, nanoelectronics, control systems, ASIC and FPGA.

- Electronics Design and Development Engineer – Engaging in the design of circuits, systems, and embedded hardware in sectors such as consumer electronics, automotive, medical devices, and industrial automation.
- Embedded Systems Engineer – Utilizing skills in microcontrollers (e.g., 8051, ARM, Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and embedded C programming to develop real-time systems.
- VLSI Design Engineer – Working on FPGA/ASIC-based systems, digital logic design, and HDL programming.
- Communication Systems Specialist – Contributing to wireless, satellite, and optical communication industries through knowledge in analog/digital communication and modern modulation techniques.
- Instrumentation and Control Engineer – Applying expertise in transducers, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
- Research and Development (R&D) – In both public and private organizations, contributing to innovations in electronic system design, IoT, AI integration in electronics, and renewable energy systems.
