It was established in the year 2006 with the vision to impart quality education for professional excellence and commitment for sustainable development. It offers M. Ed. Course. The school offers excellent learning and research facilities to enable the trainees to meet the challenges of future world & focuses on all round development of the trainees.

In very short span this department has achieved remarkable success in the implementation of academic activities. Department provides NET-SET & career guidance to the students. As the result, 65 students passed NET-SET examination in Education subject. Not only this but the Department keep in pace with surrounding research activities by actively participating and organizing seminars and conferences.

Department of Education has received recognition from NCTE with the code APP842.The department has been continuously making effort to develop thrust for higher education among rural students. The department has intake capacity of 50 students. Due to this limited number faculty can pay personal attention to every students.The department has well developed departmental library, computer lab, Educational Technology lab and psychological lab. Due to this all round development of students are maintain.
