Vice Chancellor Patent Motivation Scheme(VCPMS)

  • Since July 2016, the university has started Vice Chancellor Patent Motivation Scheme (VCPMS). Under the scheme, separate budget of 10-25 lakh has been allotted for each financial year, from which teachers, researchers, and students are promoted to file their patents through IPR Cell of the university.

Filing Patents of University Stake Holders through NRDC

  • The university promotes stake holders to file patents through university and avail the free patent filing facility of NRDC.

Inclusion of IPR in University Syllabi

  • In 2019, when university revised the syllabi of various courses, IPR has been offered as an optional audit course to many courses viz. M. Sc. Chemistry (06 courses – Polymer Chemistry / Pesticides and Agrochemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry), M. Sc. Life Sciences (Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology), M. Sc. In Physics (Materials Science / Energy Studies), M. Sc. Electronics, etc.

Organizing sensitization and training programs/Conference/Workshops/Seminars

  • IPR cell is organizing training program / conferences / workshop / seminars as awarness programs for IPR and interaction of university students / researchers and academicians with the professionals.
