The University has taken an innovative decision to establish the School of Interdisciplinary Studies in the academic year 2023. The School of Interdisciplinary Studies has been established with the vision of fostering holistic education that bridges diverse fields of knowledge and nurtures well-rounded individuals. Rooted in innovation and inclusivity, the school brings together multiple disciplines to create a dynamic learning environment where students can explore, question, and grow. Dr. Manisha Indani has taken charge as the first Director of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies. Under her leadership, many new diploma and certificate courses have been started in the school.

At present, the school houses two major departments:

• Department of Education – dedicated to advancing pedagogical practices, educational research, and preparing future educators with the skills to shape society.
• Department of Yoga Sciences – focused on integrating traditional wisdom with modern scientific approaches to health, wellness, and mindfulness.

In addition, the School offers a B.A. in Liberal Arts, a unique program designed to provide students with flexibility, breadth of knowledge, and critical thinking skills across humanities, social sciences, and applied fields. To further enrich learning opportunities, the school also conducts a wide range of certificate and diploma courses, enabling learners to pursue specialized interests and professional development.

By combining diverse disciplines under one umbrella, the School of Interdisciplinary Studies embodies the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and lifelong learning. It aims to empower students not only with academic excellence but also with values of adaptability, empathy, and global citizenship.
