Political Science is one of the oldest social science discipline, that studies how people in one society and societies are organized into states and live together to resolve their conflicts. Political science students can gain a versatile set of skills that can be applied in a wide range of exciting careers. In strategic policy making, international relation and so and so forth. The Department of Political Science was started in 2011 and is running under the School of Social Sciences.

A political scientist can work for a Government as a think tank, in the political lobby group etc. Some of the areas as follows:-
