PROGRAM OBJECTIVES FUTURE CAREER PROSPECTS
  • To provide adequate professional understanding about Acting, Production, Direction, Stagecraft, Play writing and Theatre Criticism with adequate emphasis on theory and practical.
  • To inculcate training and a practical approach using modern technology in the field of Theatre and the Performing Arts.
  • To plan and implement degree and diploma courses and conduct short-term, intensive, specialized course as per the requirement.
  • To keep flexible approach, open to accept new challenges and execute programme independently in collaboration and even as an extension activity in order to provide a professional theatre training model of the highest standards.

General Criteria

  • A candidate is considered to be eligible for admission to the post graduate courses offered by various schools/affiliated collegesof the university if he/she has secured at least 50% (or equivalent CGPA) marks at graduation (45% marks for backward class i.e. SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC category candidates from Maharashtra state).

Specific Criteria

  • Selection is based entirely on candidates’ percentage of marks obtained at the graduation and availability of the seats.
