General Criteria
- A candidate is considered to be eligible for admission to the post graduate courses offered by various schools/affiliated collegesof the university if he/she has secured at least 50% (or equivalent CGPA) marks at graduation (45% marks for backward class i.e. SC/ST/DT/NT/OBC/SBC category candidates from Maharashtra state).
Specific Criteria
- Selection is based entirely on candidates’ percentage of marks obtained at the graduation and availability of the seats.

- To introduce students to the complexities of the relationship between National Security ends, Military Means, and their “bridge”-strategy. .
- Have a strong foundation in the literature on strategy, including its application to National Security, management and public administration. .
- To familiarize students with major theoretical perspectives in National Security.
- Have an enhanced ability to analyse issues in international affairs and public administration from a strategic perspective and communicate their analyses through Strategic Option memos and other forms.
- Have an improved capacity to apply strategic concepts to practical challenges in public and non-profit administration.
- To survey key substantive areas and debates in the field of National Security Studies
