The department of psychology was established in 2014 in the school of social sciences. As the scope of application of psychology is increasing every day; teaching, research activities are also directed to applied work. The department of psychology has designed to meet challenges of our society. Subject that help students to strengthen their knowledge in the field of psychology. At the master level courses spread over a period of four semesters are offered in order to equip the student to pursue specializations in area s of their interest. The department will look forward to se up subject like industrial psychology, counseling psychology, criminal psychology and social psychology. Currently Dr.Savdekar S.V working in the department as a Assistant Professor.

The department activities also extended to the community through its counseling center, where people come and seek carrier guidance and counseling.
