Currently the Department offers PhD programme in Library and Information Science. This programme prepares the students in the profession to enhance their skills in research in profession, teaching and extension. The Ph. D programme of Department endeavours to inculcates intellectuality among the students, who are required to undergo rigorous reading, literature survey and analysis for their research projects. The in-depth knowledge gained through our Ph. D programme will help the students to contribute significantly in their profession and also to disseminate the knowledge and skills to the next generation, who is seeking the future.
