Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon has been entrusted with the responsibility of organizing Anveshan 2026 – West Zone. The convention provides a platform for young researchers to showcase innovative research, creativity and emerging ideas.
An AIU initiative dedicated to developing research, innovation and collaboration among young researchers.
Anveshan is an initiative of the Research Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to identify and nurture the research aptitude of young and upcoming researchers. Students are invited to present innovative research projects and showcase their talents at University, Zonal and International levels. The initiative also promotes interdisciplinary research, entrepreneurship and national as well as international collaboration. Launched in 2007, Anveshan has grown into a fully digitalized, hybrid-mode convention, and since 2023 its scope has expanded to the international level, inviting joint and collaborative projects with foreign students and universities.
Projects are invited across the following seven research categories.
Research projects in basic and fundamental sciences.
Engineering, technology and applied research projects.
Health sciences, allied subjects, pharmacy, nutrition and related fields.
Agriculture sciences and allied research fields.
Social sciences, humanities, commerce, business management and law.
Research combining multiple academic disciplines.
Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing and prototype innovations.
Universities conduct their internal competition and select the best project from each of the seven research categories.
Selected projects participate in the respective Zonal Convention and are evaluated by expert panels.
Winning projects from the four zones proceed to the International Student Research Convention.

Bonafide full-time students/research scholars from Undergraduate to Doctoral level can participate. Participants must be below 30 years of age at the time of registration.
A collaborative project can have a maximum of four members: one Lead Presenter and up to three major contributors.
Total presentation time is 10 minutes: 7 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for Questions & Answers.

A collaborative project allows up to 4 members (one Lead Presenter + up to three major contributors). Students register on the Anveshan Portal, and the project is accepted only once endorsed by the Anveshan Coordinator / competent authority of the university.
