The School offers the M. Sc. (Physics with Materials Science specialization), M. Sc. (Physics with Energy Studies specialization), M. Sc. (Electronics), M. Tech. (VLSI Technology) and Ph. D.(Physics/Electronics) degree programmes both in Faculty of Science and Engineering.

M. Sc. program commences from the 1st July every year and is of two year’s duration divided into 14 theory and 6 experimental/laboratories. For M.Sc. Physics program the core-content of the syllabi of both the specialization is common in the first year. In second year more emphasis is on imparting advanced knowledge to the students through six theory papers and two special laboratories of respective specialization. Each student has to carry out an innovative and research level project during last two semesters.
