The Health Centre of Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University was established on 30th May 1998. It is located in a separate building having a carpet area of 5600 sq.ft with a beautiful garden surrounding it. The health centre offers modern and sophisticated facilities for the health care of the students, employees and their families at a minimal cost.

Conducts following preventive measures :-

Yearly check up of boys and girls hostel students.

Yearly check up of central school students.

Periodic medical checkup of employees - blood sugar, lipid profile and ECG for early detection of diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.

On weekly basis we conduct stress management programme by Hon. Psychiatrist for employees and students.

Periodic fogging of insecticide at all hostels and residential quarters to prevent vector borne illnesses like malaria and Dengue fever etc.
Academic activities :
1) Conducted “Health Assistant “Certificate Course from career oriented course grant from UGC (11th plan). Purchased manikins and nursing books.
2) Submitted proposal to start Nursing School (RANM course) to provide jobs for our affiliated tribal districts.
3) University has submitted proposal to start School of Public Health Sciences.
Through this School, the Health Center intends to start following courses related to community health:
- Heath Assistant Course
- Revised Auxiliary Nurse Midwife nursing course. Leading to higher courses.
- Multipurpose Male health Worker course of two year duration.
- Multipurpose Female health Worker course of two year duration.
- Sanitary Inspector course etc.
Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University is also registered with Maharashtra Pollution Control Board and Mansai Biomedical Waste Pvt. Ltd. for disposal of biomedical waste generated in health centre and life science department
