About Department

Dr. Ambedkar Thought is one of the Department of School of Social Sciences. Post Graduate Department of Dr. Ambedkar Thought was established in 2012, in Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University,Jalgaon. This department is established for teaching and deep research in Dr. Ambedkar’s philosophy. His philosophy is multi dimensional. Multi dimensional aspect of his philosophy is useful for the development of weaker section and the nation. Through various subjects viz, Life and Mission of Dr. Ambedkar, Social Thought, Political Thought, Economic Thought, Educational Thought, Religious Thought, Dr. Ambedkar on Literature, Constitutionalism and Indian Constitution, Historicism, Pre Ambedkar Social and Cultural Movement, Project Assignment his philosophy percolates and develop by department.
